This is the new album. It represents the best of what I’ve been at for the last while and I hope you like it. All of these songs, bar one (Beautiful), have been written since I left my job a few months ago. Since then I have been trying to sharpen my musical chops...this may or may not be evident! I’ve tried to focus on production quality and on improving the standard of drum programming and sampling (my achilles heel I feel). To purchase this album please click on the shop icon in the menubar on the left. The whole thing is much more upbeat than “Mountains” and I’m reasonably happy with the way it has turned out. There’s quite a mixture of different styles and I’ve even included a cover version of the Screamin’ J. Hawkins song “I put a spell on you” (Track 17) and based it on the cover that Marilyn Manson did on their “Smells Like Children” album. Special mention goes to track 7 (“The Beat I Can’t Hear”) which is sung by my enigmatic young sister Laura. What a smashing voice she has, eh? I think she has an amazing talent and hope she realises it some day soon! I wrote the song with both she and I in mind, trying to convey the feelings of someone who feels like a bit of an outsider. All this music was written, performed, and recorded by Steve Garvey - bar Track 17 (see above). All rights of the producer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved.
