These four songs were recorded in Elektra studio in Temple Lane studios on May 12th 2004.

The first in a new one, the writing of which was finished the night before recording.  The second is from the “Mountains” CD. The third is a cover of a Marilyn Manson song from their “Mechanical Animals” album.  The last song is from the “Unless” CD.

The main idea behind this was to do a recording which captured how I sound live, without any bells and whistles and too much over-engineering.

We recorded the songs pretty quickly and then mixed and mastered the lot the same afternoon.

I wanted to make sure that any mistakes made were left in providing they weren’t really awful ones!
